It's been reported that the "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon raised over 50 million dollars,which brings me to something I would like to re-post...

"America: the only country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment - yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations. 99% of people won't have the guts to copy and re-post this... CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME."

...not to mention, Hurricane Katrina victims now wishing they were from Haiti!

The "Hope For Haiti Now" telethon was amazing...well, based on the internet clips I've seen....Oh no, I don't do the telethon thing, because I have an issue with millionaires begging common folk to donate money....hello, how about we get on the phones and call your rich ass?....something tells me we would be able to turn Haiti into Dubai a lot quicker!
