GLADD is Mad at SNL

GLAAD is petitioning NBC and the producers of Saturday Night Live for airing a mock commercial, poking fun at estrogen replacement therapy. GLADD says, "Its unacceptable to dehumanize transgender people by turning their lives into a punch line."....Hmmm, men who want to live as women...yeah, I'm lost on who exactly is at fault for the punchlines!

Don't Call Me Tranny

MTV issued an apology after GLAAD spoke out about the use of the word "Tranny" during last week's Jersey Shore reunion special. GLAAD had this to say "It was one of the most blatantly transphobic scenes aired anywhere on television in the last few years."....It's getting "regodamdiculous" to not be able to shorten the word transgender when referring to a hot mess freak show.

NFL Player Facing Rape Suit

Former NFL Cardinals star, Eric Green, who plays the Defensive Back position, has been slapped with a lawsuit claiming that the player sodomized a transgender person, according to the New York Daily News....unfortunately, one of these people were not skilled at being a "defensive back"!

Wendy's Staying

Fox's The Wendy Williams Show has been renewed through the 2011-12 season. Congratulations to Wendy and the LGBT community. I see your fight for gay rights is paying off...a transvestite with a successful talk show is a damn good start!
