UsMagazine.com has confirmed that Jessica Simpson, became engaged to beau Eric Johnson on Thursday, just days after the news broke that her ex-husband, Nick Lachey, popped the question to his long time love, Vanessa Minnillo....I guess her boyfriend realized she was going to eat herself into oblivion after Nick's engagement news, so it was cheaper for him to buy Jessica's ring instead of her groceries!
