GLADD is Mad at SNL

GLAAD is petitioning NBC and the producers of Saturday Night Live for airing a mock commercial, poking fun at estrogen replacement therapy. GLADD says, "Its unacceptable to dehumanize transgender people by turning their lives into a punch line."....Hmmm, men who want to live as women...yeah, I'm lost on who exactly is at fault for the punchlines!

New Couple Alert

Mad Men actress January Jones, and Saturday Night Live regular, Jason Sudeikis are Hollywood’s newest couple. I'm assuming the two hit it off last season, when January Jones became THE WORST SNL HOST OF ALL TIME.....It's safe to assume he'll cheat on her with musical guest, Ashlee Simpson!

The People's Choice

Betty White rocked Saturday Night Live. Hats off to the SNL writers who showed up to work and stayed for the entire show. Shout out to the public for showering Betty while she's alive! There are plenty of funny sketches worthy of posting, but I chose to post this Debbie Downer sketch that never made the live show due to timing....I dig the black girl in the graphics!

Who's That Girl?

Tina Fey hosted Saturday Night Live, and she rocked it. I really enjoyed her monologue....especially the 2nd nanny in this clip (wink). "That's What She Said"

Precious star, Gabourey "Gabby" Sidibe, has been tapped to host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live........Wow, that's fantastic, congratulations Gabby! In other news, a construction crew was seen widening the doors at NBC studios!

RIP....Rollin' With The Homies

Brittany Murphy died Sunday morning at age 32. The cause of death is unknown, and her husband, Simon Monjack, strongly opposes the Los Angeles County Coroner's office's decision to perform an autopsy...very sad, RIP!

I had the pleasure of working with Brittany Murphy in a Saturday Night Live sketch. She was really nice, yet very frail looking, so my advice to young Hollywood....try putting your cocaine on a burger, anorexia and drugs are probably not a good mix!

You're Fired

It's been announced that SNL is replacing last season newbies Michaela Watkins and Casey Wilson, with two new faces. When asked about the change, Michaela provided this explanation "The only explanation I got from [Lorne Michaels] — and he’s not known to say things just to make people feel better — was that he felt deep down that I should have my own show."... I know what she means because, when I got fired from McDonald's at age 16, the manager told me I should own my own company!

Shout Out Time

I would like to give a Shout out to Saturday Night Live! I've been putting in work on the show for more than 7 years now, and these fine people have continued to show me love. I've met many friends, some I will be friends with forever, and some...well, you know kooky actors. Anyway, no one in the acting world strives to be a background player, and I only do so on SNL, because of the history, great people, and most importantly...the after parties!!!!!! Many times I’m a regular ole' extra, but some times I'm a special hooker. Nonetheless, I get to experience on a weekly basis what millions of people wish they could, so I thank you SNL for all the love over the years….and cheers to me not getting wasted so that you call me back in the fall!
