Movie Review Time

Over the weekend, I saw Chris Rock's documentary, "Good Hair," which I thought was really funny. I was later asked if I was offended, because the film seemed to point out black women wearing weaves, while not making an issue of the unnatural things that white women do to their hair.....Look, funny is funny. if I saw a white woman paying $1000 for something that makes her look like Rick James...I'd laugh at that too!

Tyra Banks used Twitter to send a "twitpic" of her real hair. While Tyra plays peek-a-boo with us, her hairline is playing the same game with her...Is it me, or does her hairline actually start behind her ear?

On the season 5 premiere of The Tyra Banks Show, airing September 8, Tyra Banks will debut her real hair, and she's encouraging women everywhere to "own and rock what they have and be proud of their natural look."....Nice, so Halloween is coming early this year!

Unbeweavable

Yesterday on The View, Whoopi Goldberg mentioned her daughter, Alexandrea, couldn't get through airport security, because she was wearing hair weave. Alexandrea was so upset with her mom for the quote, that she decided to make a trip to The View to let America know that she doesn't wear a "full weave", but she wears "weave pieces"......Huh? Is that like being a virgin but still giving blow j*bs?...It's still fake hair, either it came from a horse or it didn't!
